Date: Thursday, Apr 27, 2023
Start time: 8:00 p.m.
End time: 9:00 p.m.
Location: Academic Learning Commons (MCALC), Room 1201
In this lecture, we will explore climate change and its intersection with energy production. We will delve into the evolution of our planet’s climate and the impact of human activities, particularly our reliance on fossil fuels, on its delicate balance. Systematically, we will examine potential solutions to this crisis from the perspective of the global energy system. Join us as we navigate this complex and urgent issue and discuss the role we all play in creating a sustainable and prosperous future.
This public lecture is free and open to all, as part of the Institute for Sustainable Energy and Environment (ISEE) Symposium 2023.
